Now we just hold on and hope that Luna can keep them all fed, since Piper refuses to pitch in.
On the second day, a second egg hatched. And then a third one hatched, later that same day. All three sleeping in a lump. Kind of look like chunks of raw liver rolled up in corn meal, don't they? Day 3, and now we have four babies.
At this point we thought we had all the hatchings we were going to get. Now we just hold on and hope that Luna can keep them all fed, since Piper refuses to pitch in. Notice the quarter placed to give you some scale. More of the same.
Four birds, all snuggled together. Luna just about bit my arm off while I took this picture. It's a wonder she doesn't crush them to death. Ok, from now on I wait until she's out of the box before taking pictures!

Now we just hold on and hope that Luna can keep them all fed, since Piper refuses to pitch in.
