Entering the kitchen from the foyer, at the base of the stairs. This is an interesting kitchen; there's a huge column (that houses a laundry chute, hot air duct, pantry and possibly some plumbing) to the immediate right in this picture. The countertop that you see on the right tops a drawer stack that is pushed up against the column. The refrigerator faces one side.
